Attacks

Murky waters

shallow seas

stand

in my way

blocking

my path;

on the other side

I see

sunshine and

butterflies

all

that is good,

one day

I’ll get there

I’ll build

a bridge

get to it

but for now

I’ll let

the

storm pass,

let the wind

howl along

because

it never lasts

no matter

how long.

This so-called Life

45202_original

It’s the slow

descent

to madness

the thwarting

of every plans

it’s the arduous

ascent

to sanity

the road

made straight

paths made clear

it’s the spiral walk

it’s the forward run;

it’s life

as it is,

it’s life

naked and bare.

Golden Cage

Little

bird blue

looking up

at the stars,

“How I wish

I could fly,

fly high

touch

the twinkling lights,”

she hoped.

Little

bird blue

gazing

across

the meadow,

“How I wish

I could

frolic on

the sweet

green grass,

taste

the first

dew drop,”

she prayed.

Little

bird blue

stealing glances

at other

birds,

“How I wish

I could

soar with them

towards the

mountains,

towards

the falls,”

she yearned.

Little

bird blue

all day

she dreams

of things

she’ll never have

inside

her house,

all shiny

and big.

The Muse

You arrive

unexpectedly

catching me

unaware

my senses

becomes

sharpened,

creativity

increases

a

thousandfold;

like

a madman

the pen

swiftly flies

the brush

urgently glides,

the music

rapidly bursts!

You leave

abruptly

catching me

off-balance

my energy

suddenly drained;

in the

end

there is

nothing –

nothing

but

a work of art,

nothing

but

a masterpiece.

The Plea

feeling-hopeful

Please

remember me now

exactly

the way

I am;

calm,

collected,

sweet;

one who

plans,

someone

who

loves life.

Please

remember me now

just

the way

I am;

optimistic,

understanding,

laughing;

one

who

truly cares,

someone

who values

life.

For when

the beast

shows itself

all of this

will

be lost,

I

will be

pushed

to the

back

forced

to watch

my very self

destroyed.
